Introducing the Parallel Simulator
After years of development, Chalice is proud to announce the launch of the Parallel Simulator.
Together as a collaborative partnership with the Radboud University Medical Centre and Drs. Tim Antonius; a Paediatrician & Neonatologist from the Radboudumc Amalia Children's Hospital in Nijmegen, the Parallel Simulator aims to positively contribute to healthcare professional training programmes around the world.
The intuitive and compact device wirelessly communicates with two high specification tablet PC's, one of which is designated as the Controller (used by the trainer) and the other designated as the Monitor (used by the trainee). While connected in line with a conventional circuit, the Parallel can instantly recall and simulate a number of common scenarios related to ECMO and other circulatory and pulmonary therapies. This provides students with the most realistic experience as possible, in a bid to prepare them for real life situations.
